The fiber optic infrastructure of North America continues to grow. Published maps show the extent of the existing vs planned routes for fiber. Driving this growth is the explosion of data sent by consumers and businesses

3000' feet of fiber in an urban area is not easy since the open cut work can be disruptive to vehicle and pedestrian traffic, not to speak of the disruption to businesses.

Customers demand service and it is really appreciated when it helps them with their bottom line. It was no surprise to our customers when we brought the project stake holders and the major telecommunications companies together to discuss the project and explore the idea of building a joint trench.

Many of our work sites are in congested utility corridors. For the most part these utilities are hidden underground. This is the safest place to put them. Increasingly all utilities are moving to underground repositories.

Thanks to the hard work of our crews this project was executed with zero safety incidents or injuries. Despite heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic no accidents occurred and everyone was kept safe.

Fiber Optic networks provide huge capacity and speed for Small Cell applications and home connections. Electric Conduit Construction is playing a major role in fiber builds throughout the Chicagoland area.

This project is a good example of some of the construction challenges posed when building antenna sites. Electric Conduit Construction is capable of building, maintaining and modifying virtually any type of tower.
